+To recursively remove all those pesky *.pyc* files from a git repo, run this command:
+
+```bash
+$ find . -name "*.pyc" -exec git rm -f {} \;
+```
+
+Then make sure to add a *.gitignore* and the root of the repo and add the line: `*.pyc`
